St. Petersburg is becoming a popular destination for sex tourists
According to him, Lithuanians go to St. Petersburg, where entry with an electronic visa has been valid since October 2019, for the sake of entertainment, cheap food and alcohol, as well as Russian women. “Many, having heard a lot of talk about the temperament of Slavic women, travel to Belarus and Ukraine, and now a new direction has appeared – St. Petersburg,” the author writes.
As Gasanovas found out, both “classic prostitutes” and ordinary students who decided to earn extra money are engaged in prostitution in St. Petersburg. The first ask for a night from 50 to 100 euros (from 3.5 to 7 thousand rubles), the second – an average of 25 euros, the journalist calculated. One of his interlocutors managed to bargain with a student up to 21 euros, that is, 1.5 thousand rubles.
The author noted that if prostitutes agree to spend the night with any solvent client, then students, on the contrary, choose young, beautiful, and most importantly – tourists. “American or European – for young girls this is a ticket to another world. After all, if relations develop in the right direction, then the matter smells like a new passport – the EU or the USA. Then we’ll live,” Hasanovas added.
In addition, it is noted that due to increased competition in the St. Petersburg prostitution market, the offer has become more diverse.
In closing, Gasanovas warned Lithuanians about the risks of such a pastime: you can contract venereal diseases, as well as face threats from pimps.
