In regional volleyball competitions, the Almaz-Anteki Concern, the Avitek team occupied 2nd place.
The idea of creating a factory volleyball team Vitala in the air has long been in the air, but until the spring of 2017, players of the current team represented other city teams, although everyone worked on Avitek. Gradually, this idea began to be embodied in life, although it was not possible to unite everyone, of course, and so that the team was worthy of the enterprise, not one season of games. Therefore, the first season was to no avail. But in the next two league tournaments of a healthy business (autumn 2017 and spring 2018) the new team won.
In the spring of 2018, an invitation was invited to participate in the regional competitions of JSC Concern East Kazakhstan in Ulyanovsk. Behind the back was a long season, and three weeks remained for the preparation, but the presence of a strong team makes the hope of going into the final. The tournament was held for the first time, so the level of rivals was unknown, and had to count on their strength. In the finals with a score of 2: 1 The team was still lost to the owners, taking the second place.
Preparations for the last championship in the city of St. Petersburg in September of this year was already more thorough: the team spent ten workouts and two control games. The mood was a fighting, although the players understood that the rivals would be strong, but it was impossible to retreat.
Alexander Frolov, Avitec team captain:
– Every day the tournament was very saturated: appreciated the rivals, they realized that you could fight for the best result. On the very first day, two victories over teams from Moscow (Lamz, RATEP) won, and on the second day there was a serious test – a game with a team from the city of Yekaterinburg (MZIC), but luck was on our side, and we won. After lunch, a game with a St. Petersburg team (KBSM), the score of 2: 0 in our favor, and we are in the semifinals!
The game in the semifinal with the Novator team from the city of Yekaterinburg was very serious: the tall team delivered a lot of problems, but the organization and the command spirit took up. 2: 0, and we are in the main game of the entire tournament!
So, we are the second, and if you do not consider a light sediment from the final, the tournament, in our opinion, was a success, and I consider the result of your team positive. Following the championship, the best player was recognized by the binding of our team Sergey Nekrasov (department 62).
