The Faculty of Medium Vocational Education (Faculty of SPO), as the structural division of the Krasnodar Cooperative Institute of the branch of the Russian University of Cooperation, was established in 1999 on the basis of the Krasnodar Mechanical Technology College of the Centrousa of the Russian Federation in 1999.
Over the first half-century period prepared more than 15,000 specialists in the specialties of secondary vocational education. Our graduates – technicians and technologists, accountants and goods can be found in Kuban and in the Far East, in the central regions of Russia and in the CIS countries. Many of them, after graduating from higher educational institutions, occupy the positions of managers and leading experts of enterprises and organizations. Graduates of the Faculty of Middle Professional are a unique opportunity to continue their studies in the Krasnodar Cooperative Institute (branch) on higher education programs.
Currently, the Faculty of Medium Vocational Education has been training specialists in full-time and correspondence forms on the basis of basic general education and secondary general education. Training classes are carried out highly qualified pedagogical workers. In the educational process, innovative teaching methods, information technology and rich experience of professionals are widely used.
Training of specialists is carried out in classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest equipment, in computer classes with access to the Internet.

Along with the main specialty, students of the faculty of secondary vocational education receive one of the working professions: food seller, commercial agent, cashier, cook, bank agent, refrigeration engineer, process equipment adjuster, baker.
The teaching staff pays great attention to creating conditions for the development of the individual, the realization of the student's creative potential. The faculty has a developed system of student self-government. There are scientific and educational circles and clubs, sports sections, amateur art circles.
