So the Spring Courage trophy sprint competitions have ended. We were full of courage – none of our three models rides. But first things first.
This is the second time I have been holding a trophy sprint in the Shtykovsky Prudy art park. Remarkably, the break was exactly six months: the first time on October 13, the second on April 13. For the second time the administration of the park creates all the conditions for holding such events, for which many thanks to them!
But with the sponsorship of a foreign online store, it was lucky for the first time. And it became a very famous RcMart store in the world of used models, which allocated a prize fund of more than $100. It's a shame, of course, that local stores are not interested in us, so we will be friends with foreign ones.
There is a place, a sponsor too. It remains the case for small – to prepare the track. The essence of the trophy sprint is to score the maximum number of laps and the minimum number of penalty points in the allotted time. And whatever it was not easy, the track abounded with descents and ascents, bridges and a labyrinth. Also, there were different coatings: the usual black earth and clay, stones, mud for every taste – thick and liquid, and even a little snow and ice. In the process, the participants in the Tourist class made some changes to the landscape, preparing the course thoroughly for the Sport class.
In total, 7 participants in the Tourist class and 18 participants in the Sport class took part in the races. Ages 4 to 45.
It was interesting to watch the race – the joint start of the models allows you to keep the participants and spectators in suspense throughout the race. Here comes the leader, and his competitor follows him on the heels. Hop! The leader fell into a hole in the bridge, and the competitor went around him. But this may not be for long: an incorrect trajectory, a breakdown, a dead battery – everything can change the alignment.
Constant struggle, excitement – this is what distinguishes the sprint from other equally interesting formats in the Trophy class.

According to the results of the competition, three strongest participants in each category were revealed:
Tourist class
1st place – Vladimir Pashkeev, model MST CMX Suzuki Samurai
2nd place – Mashnikov Sergey, model Axial SCX10II Land Cruiser 105
3rd place – Sergey Skukovsky, model MST CFX Suzuki Jimny
Sport class
1st place – Xionzher Ilya, model Axial RR10 Bomber
2nd place – Dobryakov Konstantin, model Axial SCX10II Cherokee
3rd place – Sergey Filatov, model ATM 105
The first two places were awarded with gift certificates from the rcmart store. Also, young participants were rewarded with memorable prizes, who received sets, which are so necessary for every off-road enthusiast.

Of course, it did not do without overlays in organization and conduct.
To summarize: the weather is wonderful, the place is cool, the sponsor is cool, the prizes are excellent, the track is interesting, the participants are great, the mistakes are new. All the best!
