St. George's Ribbon – a symbol of Victory. For millions of people not only in Russia, but also abroad, the St. George ribbon is a symbol of memory, connection between generations and military glory.

On April 15, the volunteers of the gymnasium launched the St. George Ribbon campaign, they told the children about the meaning of the St. George Ribbon, explained why it became a symbol of Victory and what the colors on the ribbon mean: these are the colors of victory, the colors of courage and heroism, a symbol of memory and respect for veterans.

St. George Ribbon is one of the most supported Promotions in the gymnasium related to the celebration of Victory Day. The main goal of the action is to give each student the opportunity to express their respect for war veterans, honor the memory of the fallen and demonstrate pride in the heroic past and present of our Motherland.

On April 15, 2022, in the Georgievsky District, as in other cities of the Russian Federation, the international action Garden of Memory was held. As part of the event, 11th grade students of the gymnasium, future graduates, planted 22 saplings of linden and birch.

The international action Garden of Memory was first held in 2020. The action takes place on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who personally planted his tree of memory at the Rzhev Memorial.

The action is of particular importance in the context of preserving the historical memory and the feat of the Soviet people.

Its goal is to perpetuate the memory of everyone who died during the Great Patriotic War. In total – 27 million trees in memory of 27 million dead!

We keep the memory of the heroes and take care of the environment together.

But, it is no secret to anyone that the risk of drug use and involvement in criminal activities related to their illegal trafficking is highest among adolescents – they want to be independent, they are attracted by a thirst for adventure, curiosity, the desire to try everything, an attempt to earn authority among friends. but for some it's easy money.
On April 11, 2022, as part of the interdepartmental operation Children of Russia – 2022, a round table was held at the gymnasium for students of grade 8 with Anna Sergeevna Gromova, the inspector of the PDDN, on the topic: Law-abiding behavior. Drugs, alcohol, money, friends.
Issues of responsibility for possession and distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances were discussed at the meeting.
Anna Sergeevna stressed the need for vigilance and caution in dealing with people offering easy money for the distribution of unknown substances.

Presidential competitions dedicated to the memory of the Heroes of the Soviet Union of the Georgievsky urban district of the Stavropol Territory

04/09/2022 the team of the MBOU gymnasium No. 2 of Georgievsk (students of the 7th grade) took part in the municipal stage of the All-Russian sports competitions for schoolchildren Presidential competitions dedicated to the memory of the Heroes of the Soviet Union of the Georgievsk urban district of the Stavropol Territory, among city classes – teams. According to the results of the theoretical part of the competition, the team took 2nd place.

Schoolchildren were waiting for a test of strength and endurance: running 100 meters, long jumps from a place, bending forward from a sitting position, running 1000 meters, lifting the torso from a supine position, pulling up on the bar (for boys), bending and extending arms in lying down (for girls).

The gymnasium students won in the team competition, and also showed high results in the individual championship.

The high team spirit was supported by the fans (classmates and class teacher Diment EB). The guys coped with all the tests brilliantly and now they are waiting for the next stage of the competition – the regional one.

RENDER WASTE PAPER – SAVE A WOOD

Gymnasium students from grades 1 to 11 took an active part in the all-Russian eco-marathon for collecting waste paper, which is supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Stavropol Territory and the crowdfunding project Give a Tree https://podari-derevo.ru/. Gymnasium students collected more than 300 kg. waste paper.
Progressive scientists around the world are fighting to recycle waste, thereby conserving the planet's resources. In addition to saving nature, the use of waste paper as a secondary raw material saves energy resources.
As studies conducted by environmental activists show, in order to process one ton of wood, it takes 200 cubic meters of water and a thousand kilowatts of electricity more than when using waste paper.
This suggests that newsprint and office paper, cardboard boxes and old books used as secondary raw materials not only save the planet's ecology, but also contribute to significant savings in energy and water resources.
