On August 20, 2021, the Finale of the Regional Stage of the All-Russian Competition Young Entrepreneur of Russia was held in the center My Business – 2021. Natalia Ivakhnenko became the winner in the Sphere Service nomination, the owner of the Malina Life fitness studio (Gadzhievo). About their path, mistakes and secrets of successful activity, the entrepreneur told in the next interview.

– Natalia, how did you come to open your own business and why did you choose exactly the sport?

– I'm doing sports from 7 years old: I started with a dance group, then sport-ball dances and a fitness came to my life for 20 years.
However, sports and dances have always been in second place, as parents believed that the work in this field was a frivolous and career need to be built in another area. Therefore, my main profession was a tender procurement specialist. In this area, I have achieved serious success, I was treated for outsourcing from the entire region, and before moving, I have already worked for a contract in a large regional company.

– When and why did you move to the Murmansk region?

– In September 2013. I put on the stop my rapidly taking care of my career and exchanged a millionth city of Irkutsk on a few people who famous Hajiyevo with a population of 12 thousand people. Moved after his man – a military officer. After moving with its stack of certificates and letters, I went to search for work. Everyone was bred by their hands, the vacancies were not recommended to move with my experience in Moscow. Now I speak to everyone: Thank you so much for the lack of vacancies! You gave me the opportunity to realize your dream and deal with the whole of your life, which step into a step went parallel to my main career. You gave me awareness and the desire to work not from 9 to 18, and around the clock, while developing my favorite business.

– Perhaps you have before the prerequisites for the discovery of your business?

– Still in high school: I started with the sale of cosmetics (network marketing). At the age of 18, he opened the first IP for his dance team. The experience was successful, we performed a lot, the hobby took everything my free time, but it became more complicated to combine.
Dad, who occupied more than 20 years of leadership positions in large enterprises, gave many practical advice, one of which was completed dance activities. So I entered, deepening in fitness and starting training on the group program instructor. I got used to every case for which I will take, work at the maximum. It was not an exception and this sphere, knowledge was becoming extensive, work experience more and more.Fortunately, my schedule at the main work from 8 to 17 allowed me to combatively combine.

– Your project is a fitness studio Malina. Tell me about it more? How did the name Malina appear?

– Of course, I did not plan to start a large-scale project, especially since all the few acquaintances were skeptically reacted to this idea and discouraged from its implementation. But I understood that I can't do without work for sure. Therefore, capturing its second stack of certificates confirming the education and experience of the coach, I went in search of the hall, which I managed to find. And after 2 years, win the tender and the second hall. The name Malina came literally after 5 minutes reflections: sonorous, light and memorable.

– Natalia, share a secret, how do you manage to harmoniously combine the house, family and your own business?

– Complicated. Especially difficult were the first 1.5 years of the growth of my daughter, when they do not have a systematically sleep, but you need to be attentive and with a child, and in a great mood at work, and my husband to cook dinner, and at home maintain order. I will share my secrets:
1. Timing. I always always plan for a minute. It is this that helps me to have time and not to waste time wasted, also leaving him for yourself.
2. Immediate habit work and live in multitasking mode.
3. I was very lucky with my husband and mom. These are two indispensable ally, ready to help and support all my ideas. From third-party helpers, I have only a magnificent nanny, which helped with my daughter from 6 months to 2.5 years.
4. I am doing a truly beloved thing.

– Was the period when the hands went down? How did you come to achieve your goal?

– You will not work out – I hear from the stage of the idea to open the studio in Hajiyevo to scaling it with the help of a franchise within the country.
You will not get to collect the team of professionals in such a small town. To date, the studios work, without exaggeration, the best of the best: professional athletes, choreographers, known outside the region and the Russian Federation, and just fans of their business.

If I make a decision to open a business or participate in the competition, then I go only to win. I do not have an average result, only a maximum, otherwise I do not see shine to start. Paradoxically, but the main achievements and professional growth came to the birth of a child. The grandmother helped, but not so often, it was necessary to combine business, coaching, the upbringing of babies and life (and the wife of the soldier herself needs a wife, because absolutely all problems on your shoulders: from eliminating the pipe breakthrough to the popping of the car linked. There were a lot of difficulties. They are not only in sofa experts, theorists and infozegan. But, thanks to, honesty, openness and hard work, the exit was necessarily and justice was on my side.

– Share the results that have reached now, and also tell us about what you are planning in the near future.

– Studio already confident steps entered the world of franchising.For the first 4 months from the date of the official start of sales, 3 concessions agreements were signed: 2 in the Murmansk region (Snezhnogorsk and Polar) and 1 – in Severodvinsk, the Arkhangelsk region, which, by the way, we opened literally the other day, September 4th. After 3 years I plan to open at least 20 franchises, most of which will be located in the military and closed cities of our country.

Applications for the opening come from sufficiently large and developed cities: Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg and even Minsk! While we are at the stage of selection of a suitable location. Work is very much. But when you are doing your favorite thing to all your life, then the external sources of motivation are not needed. Even on the contrary, you yourself become a source of inspiration and motivation for others.
